DS BRAND: ARNAUD RIBAULT TAKES OFFICE AND ROBERT CHAN IS APPOINTED
After being appointed Vice-President Global Sales and Marketing of the DS brand last June, Arnaud Ribault will take office on 1 October 2014. He will be based in Paris, France. On the same date, Robert Chan, who joined the brand last May, will succeed Arnault Ribault as the General Manager of the DS brand in the Changan PSA Automobiles (CAPSA) joint venture. He will be based in Shanghai, China.
Arnaud RIBAULT, 42, is a graduate of the Toulouse Business School. He spent 8 years working for Citroën Switzerland, mainly in sales and the management of sales outlets. In 2004, he joined Citroën’s central management team and supervised import activities in countries such as Greece, Finland, Ireland and Lithuania. From 2006 to 2009, Arnaud Ribault was the Managing Director of Citroën Sweden and Citroën Russia. Since January 2011, Arnaud Ribault has been the General Manager of the DS brandin the Changan PSA Automobiles joint venture.
Robert CHAN has 23 years of experience in the international automotive sector, including 7 years in Japan, 11 in the United States and 5 in China. After spending 8 years in design and operations, he has worked in sales and marketing for 15 years, while also fulfilling company management duties. Robert Chan has taken part in the launch of several car brands in China, including Infiniti, for which he successfully managed the brand’s international development and sales activities in Asia. More recently, as the Managing Director of Renault China, Robert Chan launched and developed Renault’s subsidiary in China.
